Koizumi Curls Policy

***Booking online means you agree to these terms and policies***

*Note that if you book an appointment it is assumed that you read through the policy and website throughly.

Booking online or through Instagram

  • New clients must send in a picture of their hair. Via email, instagram or phone number.

  • Color is not a service that can be provided if you have not been seen for a curly cut first. If it is booked and you are a new client, your appointment will be canceled.

  • Color may also not be booked if your hair has been colored with box dye.

  • I will let you know what to book according to the information that is sent in. The pricing may, however, change based on hair status apron arriving. (Hair Volume, density, length, etc.)

  • If a proper photo is not sent, the service time suggested may not be enough to fulfill the service required. Hair goals may not be met and you WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE FULL SERVICE via the payment method you inserted in your reservation.

  • If you decide to book through my instagram, please DM a photo of your curls.

SERVICES PROVIDED and Refunds

  • Each service provided is followed through with education on how to take care of your curls; this includes a style and a walk through of product education. These needs are met for the climate of Colorado. This cut is also performed while the curl is wet. If you are not pleased with your results, I will do my best to ensure that you are happy with your service. You must, however, voice your concerns within your allotted session time and/or book a new reservation 48-hours.

  • No services will be rushed! Curly hair is not a in and out service. Especially if you are booked for a combo service. If you don’t have the time, please do not book an appointment.

  • I will not perform a service I am not familiar doing or pretend I can. So please come in with realistic expectations.

  • Services and products are non-refundable.

  • By booking a service, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the salon policies. An email, text, or message will be sent for new clients regarding what session to book. If you book anything different than the time suggested, I will only service you for that amount of time. Therefore, by booking below the suggested time (for example, booking a 1-hour session despite a recommendation of 1.5-hours) services may not be fully met.

  • Sending in a picture that is an inaccurate representation of your natural hair, or your hair upon arrival, may result in an up-charge or a lack of time to complete the service.

Conformation Policy

  • All scheduled appointments require a payment method to hold your appointment. This will confirm your appointment if you decide to not show up or cancel last minute.

  • If you need to cancel your appointment please inform me 48 hours before your appointment, or you will be charged the either the full or partial amount of the service. You may call or leave a text/and or insta DM letting me know that you are not able to make it to the Salon. Emails sometimes do not get seen as quickly.

  • No shows or last minute cancelations will be charged the full amount of whatever service is booked. Please be respectful for my time and the time of other clients. (Time is money.)

  • Arriving 10 minute or later will result in a canceled appointment and you will be charged the appointment fee and be automatically canceled.

Child and Minor Service Policy

  • Children the age of 4-12 are scheduled a curly kids session or possible 1.5-2 hours depending on hair. Prices may vary depending on density of hair. Your child must be supervised at all times, and one adult must be present during their service. If your child is uncomfortable or disruptive then services can not be met and will be charged the full appointment. Services involves shears and can be dangerous if your child is experiencing discomfort. You know your child best, so bring them when they are ready.

Detangle-ment Policy

  • Upon arriving to your appointment, please come detangled. Curly session include detangling, however if it is determined that your hair is taking more time then needed, then a detangle-ment fee will be charged of $40. Services booked may or may not be completed if so. In this case, a new appointment may be rescheduled at original service price.

Color policy and hair damage

  • Color services may or may not be performed given the overall health of the hair. Color services will also not be performed on first time clients. A curly cut must come first. We want clean ends as well as me understanding, and seeing the health of your hair (healthy hair is top priority). I do not guarantee the results of your color choice if I am not told the honest truth of your hair and if you do not allow the hair to be fully dried.

  • I am a professional, however I am not a wizard. I can only do the best of what I know and my ability.

  • Curly hair that is damaged will need to be discussed before booking. We must both either come to terms of a big chop. I can not make your damage hair curl.

  • Color is not cheap! If you have a bigger volume of curls, chances are that color will cost more. Please be prepared for prices.

  • A consultation is always done before color. Questions about color history and chemicals will be asked. If color is applied and your curls react by either different colors forming, melting of the hair, or hair damage, I am not responsible. Please be honest with your hair. I am not here to judge, but to get the best results and satisfaction.

Salon policies and askings

  • You are allowed to have one guest with you at a time. My space is not the biggest. Please be considerate of room.

  • Please no kids under 5. Unless you let me know before your appointment.

  • I have the right to refuse service to anyone!

  • If you have any allergies please let me know beforehand. If you would like to bring in your own products due to reasons of allergies, then please do so.

  • If you are not comfortable with the services I provide after our consultation, you have the right to refuse the service. However, you must pay 50% of the service that you booked for.

  • Please know that curly hair is my career and something I enjoy a lot. Even though it is fun to do, this is not my hobby, but what supports my life. Be kind for my time and energy as you would want the same done for you.
